Design Week Mexico
Vision and Tradition is an initiative of Design Week México y México Territorio Creativo, which links artisans and designers to collaborate and create different collections together. During the 2019 edition, Yucatán was one of the guests and we were selected to be hosts. The invited designers collaborated with the artisan communities that work on the techniques of: backstrap loom, jipijapa weaving, stone carving, sewn henequen, filigree, horn carving and warping. The collection of 10 objects was exhibited at Taller Maya Santa Ana.
